Who can enter?

The competition is open to UK university students studying any subject from any year group. You need to be currently studying in the UK.

Can I enter more than once?

Unfortunately not. If you do enter twice, both scores/attempts will become invalid.

How long does it take?

The exercise isn’t timed but you will need around 30 minutes to complete the registration form and the online exercise.

What is the overall prize?

The overall winner of the ICAEW 100 competition will receive a one on one employability skills session with a member of the ICAEW student recruitment team. You will learn how to improve your interview technique, create an eye catching CV and increase your commercial awareness amongst other skills. You will also win £5,000 to be used for personal development towards your future career.

Are there any other prizes?

Yes. Additional prizes will be awarded to applicants who have excelled in certain areas of the exercises. Check out the Prizes page here for more details.

Also, all students who take part in the competition will receive a personalised feedback report. This identifies your strengths and offers advice on how you might further improve your skills and maximise your potential.

Do I have to complete the exercises in one go?

No, although we do recommend it as it only takes 30 minutes!

Where can I complete the exercises?

You can complete the exercise online via tablets, phones, iPads, laptops or computers.

How long do I have to take part?

The competition closes at noon on Monday 20 April 2020.
